Skelmersdale 2-0 Ossett Albion

SKELMERSDALE United erased the frustration of going out of the FA Cup by securing a comfortable win over Ossett Albion in the UniBond Premier First Division North.

United remain unbeaten in the league this season and sit in sixth after this win.

A goal in the 14th minute from Mark Houghton was followed up by Paul Prescott's tap in on 66 minutes to seal the victory.

Although Ossett  fought back to win a penalty, Shane Kelsey blazed the spot kick over the bar.
